About Course
Welcome to the General English Upper Intermediate Course! In this course, we will be building on your existing knowledge of English and working towards fluency in the language.
Throughout the course, we will cover a range of topics and language skills, including:
- Grammar: We will review and expand on the grammar you learned in previous courses, including verb tenses, conditionals, reported speech, and more complex structures such as passive voice and relative clauses.
- Vocabulary: We will focus on expanding your vocabulary, both through the study of new words and by exploring nuances and shades of meaning in familiar words.
- Listening: We will practice listening to a variety of accents and styles, from everyday conversations to news broadcasts and academic lectures.
- Speaking: We will work on improving your spoken English, including pronunciation, intonation, and fluency, through a variety of activities such as role-playing, debates, and presentations.
- Reading: We will practice reading different types of texts, from fiction to news articles, with a focus on comprehension and developing strategies for understanding unfamiliar words and concepts.
- Writing: We will work on improving your writing skills, including grammar, vocabulary, structure, and style, through a variety of writing tasks such as essays, reports, and letters.
